Most major U.S. airlines fly
into Salt Lake City. The airport is located five miles
from downtown Salt Lake City. Ground transportation
choices include: taxi, bus, limousine service and car
rental. Many hotels provide complimentary shuttle service
to the airport and major attractions.
Light rail and bus service are
also available.
Interstates 15 and 80 are the
main freeways into Salt Lake City. The city is also
served by a beltway that has an exit less than one mile
away from the U of U campus. Salt Lake City is known for
a street grid system that simplifies finding addresses.

The University of Utah makes

room is equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave.

Public transportation is
provided by UTA bus system. The Salt Lake City
metropolitan area, including Provo and Ogden, is connected by an extensive bus system. For route and fare

University of Utah Campus shuttle buses offer free, convenient transportation to all areas of the campus.

Restaurant - is open to the public and provides a
breathtaking view of the Salt Lake Valley. Breakfast and

other malls, in downtown Salt Lake City house
dozens of restaurants, several movie theaters, department stores and specialty
shops. The Energy Solutions Arena is the home of the Utah Jazz basketball team and
the site of concerts and other special events. In addition, the Utah Symphony's
Abravanel Hall is host to many cultural happenings. The Mormon Church's
"Temple Square" is a well-known tourist destination. Trolley Square, a
renovated trolley car station, at 700 East and 500 South is a popular
shopping center with many restaurants and movie theaters.
