The University of Utah Health Sciences
campus consists of many buildings
that are connected by tunnels or sky
bridges, making it possible to travel
from one building to another without
having to go outside or move your car.
Some hallways are long. Request a
wheelchair if you need one. Floor maps
of Huntsman Cancer Hospital and
directions to other campus locations
are available from the information
desk in the first floor lobby.
Discharge
Your care team will talk with you
about your treatment plan and the
probable length of your stay. The
actual length of your stay will depend
on your recovery and response to
treatment. Your care team will also
talk with you about how to take care
of yourself at home, assist you with
any nursing help or medical equipment
you might need, and let you know
what your follow-up care with your
doctor should be.
