September
September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month. According to the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation (GCF) a woman will be diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer every seven minutes. Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month (GCAM) provides an opportunity to educate women about the prevention, early detection and treatment of all gynecologic cancers. We have provided multiple links to different types of information to learn more about ovarian, endometrial and vaginal cancers.
For information about cervical cancer, please see our January Cervical Cancer Awareness website.
