Prostate cancer is the second most common malignancy in American men; only skin cancer affects more men. Regular screening tests can help detect prostate cancer in its earliest, most treatable stage. Men should be screened regularly for prostate cancer beginning at age 50, or earlier as determined by individual risk factors. See HCI Screening Guidelines for Men to find out more about prostate cancer screening. For men and their families who are dealing with the disease, we have provided multiple links to information about prostate cancer treatment and coping.
