Screening Services at Huntsman Cancer Institute

Cancer is most treatable and survivable when it’s found early. Medical experts have developed screening guidelines to detect some types of cancers at their earliest, most treatable stage, often before any signs or symptoms develop.

We now have early detection screening tests for breast, cervical, prostate, colorectal, and skin cancers. Self-examination and knowledge of family health history are also important for effective screening and early detection.

Screening Services at Huntsman Cancer Institute

Most cancers are detected and diagnosed before patients come to Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI). However, HCI offers some early detection services. Below is a list of our clinics that offer cancer screening and diagnostic services:

Breast Imaging Clinic

Skin Cancer Screening and Mole Mapping Clinic

Gastrointestinal Cancer Program Diagnostic Services

Family Cancer Assessment Clinic
