What is the cost to ride in the race?
Registration for all distances is $25 to be able to ride, but you must fundraise $500 in order to receive the cycling jersey and sponsorship goodies.

What if I don't want to fundraise, can I still ride?
Yes, you just won't receive the cycling jersey or sponsorship goodies

Can I buy the event cycling jersey?
Yes. If you want to buy the jersey, it is $100 additional to the $25 registration fee and can be done during the registration process.

Is the Huntsman 140 a race?
No. The Huntsman 140 is a non-competitive ride.

Will the roads be closed?
No. Cyclists are asked to obey all the rules of the road and to not ride more than two abreast.

What is the fundraising minimum?
$500 to receive the event cycling jersey and lunch (for the 140 & 75 distances only)

What are the start times and locations for each distance?
The 140-mile DELTA will begin in Delta, UT at Droubay Chevrolet at 248 South Main St at 7 a.m.
The 140-mile SLC will begin in Salt Lake City, UT on the South side of Huntsman Cancer Institute
The 75-mile will begin in Salt Lake City, UT on the south side of Huntsman Cancer Institute, at 9:30 a.m.
The 25-mile will begin in Salt Lake City, UT on the south side of Huntsman Cancer Institute, at 12:30 p.m.

When does registration end?
Online registration will close on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at midnight.Am I allowed to use my iPod or music device during the ride?
We strongly recommend that you do not ride with any musical device in order to hear traffic and or the cues of other cyclists, but if you choose to. You must have left one earbud out at all times.

What are the packet pickup dates/locations?
We will be holding packet pick-up for the Huntsman 140 riders in Delta, UT on Friday, June 14, 2013 – at Droubay Chevrolet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the morning or the ride at Droubay Chevrolet from 5:30 a.m. to 7 a.m.
We will be holding packet pick-up for the 75- and 25-mile riders at Huntsman Cancer Institute lobby on Friday, June 14, 2013 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the day of the race, beginning at 5:30 a.m.

If I wanted to stay in Delta, where could I stay?
Hotel - Days Inn
Camping/ RV - Delta High School Football field.

Are there any time restrictions during the ride?
Yes. If a rider of the either the 140-mile distances has not reached the lunch stop by 12:30 p.m., it is mandatory that the SAG vehicle drive you forward to lunch at West Lake High School.

Where can my family/friends park if they come and watch me finish the ride?
The can park in the Huntsman Cancer Hospital parking terrace on the north side of Huntsman Cancer Institute and walk through the Institute to the south side.

What type of transportation is offered to Delta for the 140 mile distance?

How many aid stations will there be and what do they offer for riders?
140-mile: Has five aid stations and the lunch stop at West Lake High School
75-mile: Has five aid stations and the lunch stop at West Lake High School
25-mile: Two aid stations
All aid stations will have cold water to refill your water bottles, an energy beverage, energy bars, energy chews and snacks such as pretzels, candy, etc.

Will there be medical support on the course?
Yes. There will be medical support at selected aid stations and in the SAG vehicles roving the course.

Is there an early start for slower riders?
Yes. The course will open at 6 a.m., but will need to let ride staff know that are beginning early. Riders can also take advantage of being SAG'ed forward to lunch if needed.

Will there be bathrooms along the course?
Yes. All aid stations are located near restrooms.

Are there Timing Chips & or a bib numbers for riders?
There will not be timing chips, but every rider will be required to wear a bib number during the ride to be easily identified as a participant.
