At the Sigma Chi 150th anniversary celebration, the historical fraternity made Huntsman Cancer Foundation (HCF) its national charity of choice.
Sigma Chi chapters across the nation have stepped up to help in the cancer fight. Active collegiate and alumni chapters hold events in their areas and direct the proceeds to HCF. These events include the following:
- Golf tournaments
- Walk-a-thons
- Live and silent auctions
- Dance marathons
- Cycling events
- Battles of the Bands
- Boxing tournaments
- Galas
- Fashion shows
- Derby Days
If you are a Sigma Chi chapter member and are interested in holding an event to raise funds for HCF, please contact our Sigma Chi liaison at least 90 days before the event for approval. After approving the event, HCF can provide marketing materials such as logos and letterhead. HCF cannot provide monetary support for events.
