ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR
Dr. Phil Bernard is a clinical and research pathologist focusing on developing molecular diagnostics for cancer. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Utah and serves as Medical Director for Solid/Soft Tumor Molecular Diagnostics at ARUP Laboratories Inc. As a Huntsman Investigator, he runs a “translational” cancer research laboratory at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Dr. Bernard oversees the Tissue Acquisition and Distribution (TAD) Facility at HCI.
