To optimize care, Huntsman Cancer Institute's breast cancer multidisciplinary team reviews each patient's case at weekly treatment planning conferences. In collaboration with our nationally recognized pathologists and radiologists, our medical, radiation, and surgical oncologists carefully study and consider treatment options.

Huntsman Cancer Institute participates in several national cooperative studies and our physicians are members of many national and international committees and societies dedicated to the management of breast cancer. Affiliations include the National Cancer Institute, National Comprehensive Cancer Network, Southwest Oncology Group, American College of Surgeons, and National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project.
