Support the HCI Center for Children

The HCI Center for Children brings together researchers from Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) with health care providers from Primary Children’s Medical Center (PCMC) and specialists from the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah (U of U).

Children diagnosed with cancer receive clinical care at PCMC—the top pediatric hospital in the Intermountain West—and may undergo specialized treatments at HCI. All patients receive the top care available based on national practice guidelines and standards, and all benefit from a team of experts who discuss each child’s treatment plan. Care teams include

  • nurses
  • oncologists
  • pediatricians
  • radiologists
  • researchers
  • social workers

This multidisciplinary approach to cancer care means patients and their families receive the best advice about treatment options.
