Multidisciplinary Melanoma Clinic

|
|
In this clinic, patients with a previously diagnosed melanoma are seen by multiple specialists who may be involved in their
health care. Led by co-directors Glen Bowen, MD, and R. Dirk Noyes, MD, the specialists meet routinely with other
melanoma experts for a patient treatment planning conference to discuss individual cases and formulate the most effective
treatment plan. Once the treatment plan is finalized, patients may continue their care at Huntsman Cancer Institute or be
treated by an affiliated physician. This structure is supportive and efficient for patients because it helps them
negotiate the often-confusing series of appointments with multiple specialists that are required during cancer therapy. It
also optimizes their care by creating a forum for input from multiple physicians.
To schedule an appointment call (801) 585-0100 or toll-free (866) 275-0243.
