EATING WELL at the point

The Point at Huntsman Cancer Institute is available to myeloma patientsIt is important for people with myeloma to eat well and drink plenty of fluids. It is also important for patients and their families and friends to find places of comfort and beauty where they can relax during challenging times.

The Point Restaurant and The Point Bistro, both located on the 6th floor of Huntsman Cancer Institute and Huntsman Cancer Hospital, offer these things and more. Patients and their loved ones benefit from meals that are fresh, healthy, delicious, affordable, and served in a beautiful environment. Nestled against the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains, these dining locations offer breathtaking views of the Salt Lake Valley.

A wide variety of foods are offered, including salads, sandwiches, fish, Asian and southwestern cuisine, pasta, and healthy snacks. We hope that by offering many choices, patients undergoing treatment who find it difficult to eat will find something to enjoy to keep up strength and have more energy.

The Point Restaurant is open to the public from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The Point Bistro is open to the public on weekdays from 11 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. It is also open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends.
