why huntsman cancer institute?
The Myeloma Program at Huntsman Cancer Institute has created a message board that offers two services:
- Myeloma Chat
This online group allows you to connect with other myeloma patients, share your experience, and ask questions. The discussion is monitored by the staff of the Huntsman Cancer Institute Myeloma Program, who are available to help answer your questions.
Please note that while these myeloma experts are happy to answer your general questions, they can not provide specific, personalized medical advice.
- Online Support Group
This online group is facilitated by the Patient and Family Support team in the Huntsman Cancer Institute BMT / Myeloma Program. These licensed clinical social workers are dedicated to helping patients and caregivers deal with emotional issues and life changes related to a cancer diagnosis. They are available to answer any questions you may have.
The group also allows you to connect with other patients and caregivers who may be experiencing similar struggles and situations.
