A message from our New Patient Coordinator, Jessica Drury
Dear patient,
We recognize that this is a difficult time for you and your family. A cancer diagnosis is frightening, and treatment decisions can be overwhelming.
You probably have many questions about multiple myeloma, our research, and what it would be like for you to come to Huntsman Cancer Institute for treatment.

If you are considering Huntsman Cancer Institute as your treatment center or you are a new patient, I am here to do the following:
- Give you information about our treatment approach at HCI
- Provide an orientation to the hospital and education about the treatment process
- Connect you with the various people within the program (financial coordinators, social workers, clinic coordinators) who offer assistance in different areas of your treatment
- Locate temporary housing if you are coming from outside of the Salt Lake City area and provide maps and other information
Your care and comfort are top priorities for us, and our staff will be as responsive as possible to your concerns and needs. We welcome your thoughts and comments throughout your treatment with us.
