Inpatient Services

For inpatients at Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI), a registered dietitian monitors nutrition needs. Each patient’s menu is based on his or her specific nutrition needs and any special dietary concerns such as diabetes or food allergies. A dietitian is also available to answer any nutrition questions.

Our kitchen is open every day from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. Meals are provided through a room-service style of dining. Based on diet restrictions, patients receive a restaurant-style menu upon arrival. From this menu, each patient has the choice to order meals as desired. We strive to do everything we can to fulfill special needs and other requests. View our general patient menu.

HCI also has two restaurants for guests to enjoy. The Point Bistro, located on the sixth floor of the hospital, is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Point Restaurant, located on the sixth floor of the institute, is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
