Dr. Filtz received his doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland in 2009. He completed his postgraduate year one (PGY1) residency training at the University of Utah and is one of four PGY2 residents in hematology/oncology pharmacy at HCI. David Stenehjem, PharmD (2010-2011) Dr. Stenehjem received his doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 2009. He completed his postgraduate year one (PGY1) residency training at the University of Utah. Prior to pharmacy school he worked in industry developing novel therapeutics. He is a postgraduate year two (PGY2) hematology/oncology pharmacy specialty resident. He works in both the Huntsman Cancer Institute ICU and pharmacy outcomes research center (PORC). Dr. Mahmoudjafari graduated with her PharmD from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2008. She earned her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center in 2009. Her professional interests include hematology/oncology, academia, administration, infectious disease and critical care. She is currently working as a Clinical Hem/BMT Specialist Pharmacist at the Univerity of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, MO.
Laura is from a small town outside of Cincinnati, OH. She graduated with her doctor of pharmacy from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN, and returned to Cincinnati to complete her PGY1 residency at Health Alliance. She works as a Clinical Oncology Specialist Pharmacist at University of Washington in Seattle, WA.
Nolan Ngo, completed his doctor of pharmacy training at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He completed his PGY1 residency training at the University of Arizona Medical Center and his PGY2 residency in hematology/oncology at Huntsman Cancer Institute. He is currently a clinical pharmacist at Baylor Medical Center.
Dr. Lauren Burt completed her doctor of pharmacy training at the University of Florida in Gainesville, after completing a bachelor’s degree in nutrition also from the University of Florida. Dr. Burt then completed her PGY1 residency training at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Denver, Colorado, and a PGY2 residency in hematology/oncology at Huntsman Cancer Institute. She is assistant professor of pharmacy at Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Lampas completed her doctor of pharmacy training at Purdue University. She completed her PGY1 residency training at the University of Utah Hospital, and her PGY-2 Hematology/Oncology Residency at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Dr. Sanders completed her doctor of pharmacy training at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, after completing a bachelor's degree in chemistry and biochemistry from Hope College in Michigan. She completed her PGY1 residency training at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Denver and a PGY2 residency in heme/onc pharmacy at Huntsman Cancer Institute. She is a clinical pharmacist working in the ICU as well as the residency coordinator for the PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Dr. Au completed her doctor of pharmacy training at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy in 2005. She completed her PGY1 residency training at the University of Utah Hospital, and a PGY2 residency in hematology/oncology at Huntsman Cancer Institute. She is working as a hematology/oncology clinical pharmacist at the Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Shauna Burns completed her doctor of pharmacy training at Mercer University Southern School of Pharmacy in Atlanta, Georgia. She then completed her PGY1 residency training at Intermountain Health Care/LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, and a PGY2 residency in hematology/oncology pharmacy at Huntsman Cancer Institute.
