Lynn Million, MD, is an associate professor of radiation oncology and a physician at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Million’s clinical specialty is pediatric tumors, sarcomas, lymphomas including Hodgkin’s, non-Hodgkin’s, and cutaneous lymphomas.
Million is a member of Huntsman Cancer Institute’s Sarcoma Service and works closely with the multidisciplinary oncology teams at Primary Children’s Medical Center, HCI’s lymphoma service, and HCI’s dermatology department. Nationally she is a member of the soft tissue sarcoma committee of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) where she is vice chair of the non-rhabdomyosarcoma soft tissue sarcoma trial and a committee member of the rhabdomyosarcoma intermediate risk trial. These multi-institutional children’s trials focus on developing novel therapeutic approaches to children’s sarcoma and conduct translational research with molecular biologists with expertise in the field.
Million received a medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. She completed a residency in radiation oncology and a fellowship in cancer biology research, at Stanford University Medical Center.
