NOTE: Some insurance companies send a statement of services listing costs for services you received. This is NOT a bill. Your insurance company may pay for some of these costs. What if I have a question about my hospital bill?If you have questions concerning your hospital bill, please contact one of the financial counselors. What if I have a question about my physician's bill(s)?Charges for services provided by your doctors, consulting physicians, or others involved in your treatment are billed directly by each physician. If you have questions regarding those bills, please contact each billing office directly. The phone number to call is listed on the top of the billing statement right above the M account number. When will I receive my bills? In most cases, you will receive your doctor bill(s) before your hospital bill(s). You should receive an initial hospital bill approximately 15 days after your visit. You should then receive a notification approximately every month, updating you on the progress of this financial obligation. When do I pay my copayment and deductible? Please pay your copayments and deductibles before or at the check-in time. What if I do not have insurance or have difficulty paying my bill?Contact one of our financial counselors to make financial arrangements. If you do not have insurance, you can pay a deposit of 50 percent of the estimated charges before or at the time of service. You will be asked to sign an agreement stating the amount you paid is only an estimate. The remaining balance is due within 30 days. You have the option to pay the remaining balance through a monthly payment plan. For those with extreme financial hardship, a sliding scale arrangement is available. Strict income guidelines apply. Contact a financial counselor to find out if you are eligible. How can I make a payment?Payments are accepted at each financial counselor's office.
