Thai Cao, MD, is an associate professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine and a Huntsman Cancer Institute investigator. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Cao specializes in hematology and blood and marrow transplantation. He completed his medical degree and residency at the University of Kansas, Kansas City, followed by a fellowship at Stanford University.
