Mahesh Chandrasekharan, PhD

Mahesh Chandrasekharan, PhD, is a research assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Utah School of Medicine and a research scholar at Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI).

Chandrasekharan completed his undergraduate studies at Mangalore University in India and received a PhD in biology from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining HCI, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee, focusing on epigenetic changes that precede tumor formation.
