Lori Kowaleski-Jones, PhD

Associate Professor, Department of Family and Consumer Studies

Lori Kowaleski-Jones, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Family and Consumer Studies at the University of Utah and a Huntsman Cancer Institute investigator. She is a member of the Cancer Control and Population Sciences Program.

Kowaleski-Jones studies cancer-related associations between the social environment and energy balance, physical activity, and obesity.

She earned a PhD from Ohio State University, Columbus. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute for Policy Research, Northwestern University, Illinois.
