Erin Rothwell, PhD, TRS, CTRS, CRSS, is a research assistant professor in the College of Nursing at the University of Utah and a member of the Cancer Control and Population Sciences Program at Huntsman Cancer Institute.
Rothwell studies psychosocial oncology and group processes. She also researches the impact of recreational therapy on cancer survivors, group genetic counseling versus individual genetic counseling, and quality-of-life indicators in cancer survivors who participate in physical fitness activities.
Rothwell received a bachelor's degree from the University of South Alabama, Mobile, and a PhD from the University of Utah.
