Maurizio Zangari, MD, is a hematologist/oncologist and investigator at Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI). He is a professor of medicine at the University of Utah, director of experimental therapeutics with the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at HCI, and a member of the Imaging, Diagnostics, and Therapeutics Program.
He specializes in multiple myeloma and hypercoaguability (blood clotting) in cancer patients.
Zangari received a bachelor's degree from the Enrico Fermi Institute of Padua, Italy, and a medical degree from the University of Padua, Italy. He completed a fellowship in hematology and bone marrow transplantation at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York City.
